An In-Person Workshop Series

Many people like to plan. We plan for the big events in our lives, exciting and life-changing events like getting married, having children, changing careers, retirement.

It’s only natural that we should be equally as willing to plan for our death, but doing so feels morbid and depressing so we tend to put it off for as long as we can. A recent survey suggests that only one-third of adults have completed some form of estate planning and end-of-life paperwork.

No matter your age, no matter how many more decades you plan to live, completing your end-of-life paperwork is a gift. It’s a gift both to yourself and to your loved ones who will be tasked with handling your affairs once you’re gone.

Our goal with Peace of Mind Planning is to help you cross this daunting task off your list, while easing some of the fear and discomfort you may feel when you think about your mortality.

This three-part in-person series walks you through the essential end-of-life planning needs. The small group setting allows for conversation, personal planning, and answers to any questions that arise.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • Yes, unfortunately tragedy can strike at any time. Being prepared at any age is important. Anyone over the age of 18 should have some form of advanced directive/wishes documentation. Important biological and account information should always be readily accessible to family members/next of kin so that they are not left searching for this information while also grieving.

  • Yes. Whether you have an estate planning lawyer and/or a financial planner, this class is still pertinent as we address things outside the scope of legal and financial planning such as end of life wishes and disposition.

  • We understand, life is busy. If you can’t attend all 3 sessions, we will share necessary materials and can discuss specifics during an individual 1:1.
